Welcome to the Fountainhead Civic Association, Inc.  (FCA). Our neighborhood of 26 single family homes is situated on nearly 150 wooded acres in Fairfax Station, Virginia at the intersection of Hampton Road and Shadow Lane. The Community, developed in the 1970s, consists of five-acre single family home lots; many of which were there before the homes were built. Some homes adjoin equestrian trails that connect to Fountainhead Regional Park (2,000 acres). Country fences and roadside mailboxes line two private roads that are maintained by the civic association. The community is sought after for its seclusion and wildlife habitat. A host of golf courses, marinas, rowing facilities, and county and regional parks are within 10 miles of the community. We are just one turn off of one of Virginia’s famous Byways and conveniently located to a Metrorail transit system, top schools, hospitals, and shopping centers. Access to major roadways provide easy access to both the Washington Metropolitan Area and Northern VA technology corridor and Dulles and Reagan National Airports. Neighboring communities include Burke, Lorton, and the historic towns of Occoquan and Clifton.

The Fairfax Community Association (FCA) is a non-profit, non-political corporation incorporated in the State of Virginia. The organization is presided over by a board of directors. The Association is supported by dues collected from owners of property within the Fountainhead community. FCA meetings are held each April and October while other community activities and seasonal gatherings are held throughout the year. FCA neighbors treasure the private and secluded surroundings that help make it an enjoyable place to live.
